I offer a full range of services for the production of quality web sites, print projects and other visuals. Through my many contacts, I can also offer most companion services that may be required as part of a production.

I produce all kinds of web sites from simple online brochures to complex content management systems.

I can design and build sites from scratch and I can produce elements for existing sites like menu systems, graphical elements, advertising banners, photo slideshows, audio and video.

I produce both static sites that require very little editing over time and dynamic database-driven sites designed so that clients can make ongoing edits.

On a technical level, I’m skilled with html/css, Flash/Actionscript, and WordPress development.

I’m adept at integrating social media into site design and I create code that is optimized for search engines and mobile devices.

I’ve been producing printed projects since the beginnings of the technological revolution which shifted graphics work from cut and glue layouts to computer design. Over the years, I’ve designed and produced countless print projects of every conceivable shape and size and level of complexity. I’ve been involved with book and magazine productions and with the development of many logos, brochures, and other marketing materials.

My broad experience with print productions means that I’ll produce optimized artwork so you get the best possible printed product. My years of design experience means you’ll get clean, contemporary layouts and graphics, so you can look your best.

On a technical level, I can produce artwork for virtually any printed project. Many clients have relationships with their own printers who I happily provide print-ready artwork for. Otherwise, I’ll find the best printer for the job and manage the project from start to finish.

In the heady days of the mid-late 1990s, when simply having a web site would garner media attention, I established this web magazine (or “webzine”) as an antidote to the hyperbole around the dot com “revolution”. A popular pioneering web site with a predetermined end after 12 issues, Barbed Wire was a nihilist exercise in self-mockery and and outlet for writers and artists who took delight in unbridled self-examination, with an interest in cultural oddities and an appreciation for the absurd. Barbed Wire pushed the technological envelope at the time, anticipating many Internet developments well before their time – from confessional blogging to web sound, video and multimedia. Eventually, the whole project was released on Cdrom with a hidden soundtrack, expanded multimedia content and a “best of” print compendium.
